1.Title Tag

The first thing you have to focus on On-Page SEO is your Title Tag. Title Tag is what your visitors read first on your webpage. If your Title is catchy and impressive then there is a 70 % chance that visitors will read your whole article. Google typically displays 50-60 characters of a title tag. If your Title Tag is between 50-60 characters then there is an 80 % chance that your title will display properly.

You can see in the above image my title tag is showing properly because I keep title length in 50-60 characters. Make sure to add your keyword in Title Tag.

2. Permalinks

Permalinks are the permanent links of your webpages and blog posts. Url of your webpage or blog post is permanent and never be changed. A Permalink is the web address used to link your content.

Add your Keyword in permalinks. Keywords in Title Tag and Permalinks will help you in SEO of your webpage.

3. Meta Descriptions

The Meta Description is an HTML tag that provides a brief summary of a webpage. Google typically displays Meta Descriptions up to 160 characters long in its Search Engine Page Results.

In 2009 Google announced that neither Meta Descriptions nor Meta Keywords factor into Googles’ ranking algorithms for web search.

Meta Keywords can help you to increase your CTR (Click Through Rate). For that reason, you have to put effort into Meta Descriptions.

4. Meta Tags

Meta Tags are actually snippets of text that describe the page content. It doesn’t appear on the page but they appear in the page’s code. It helps search engines to tell what is web page is all about.

5. Keyword Density

Keyword Density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a webpage compared to the number of words on the webpage. It determines whether a webpage is relevant to a specified keyword or phrase. If a keyword appears 3 times in 100 words text the keyword density would be 3%.

6. Image Optimization

Image Optimization is all about reducing the file size of your images without losing its quality. It helps to web page load time. In this process, you have to give a specific title to an Image and also use the alt tag. The alt tag helps google crawlers to find what is the Image is all about.

If someone is searching in Google Images and your Image matches with their searches so there is a chance that the visitor will click on your Image and redirect to your website. That’s why Image Optimization is important in On-Page SEO.

7. Internal Linking

An ‘Internal Link’ is a link on your site that navigates the visitor to another webpage on your website. These types of links help the user to navigate a website. These types of links are commonly used in site navigation.

Google also uses Internal Links to discover new content. If you published content and forget to link it to your site and it also not on your sitemap, then Google doesn’t know it exists. That’s why Internal Links are important.

8. Outbond Linking

These types of Links send your user outside of your website. Outbound Link gives a clear idea to search engines by providing relevant links.
